Getting To Positive

"Look at the problems in your life. Ask yourself, 'What kind of thoughts am I having that create this?"-L.Hay

Stings for a minute doesn't it? But isn't it great the level of  power we have? You see happiness isn't dependent on our external world; Happiness is mainly determined by how we view the world. Some people  say - If I had this I'll be happier. If I lost weight I'll be happier. When I do that I'll be good. Well, I'm here to tell you the time is NOW and thankfully you don't have to go out and buy anything.  All the tools necessary we already hold.

Whatever our goal it can be done but it has to start with a positive attitude. Thinking positive ensures that we maintain the energy needed to continue with our goals. It allows us to see the good in any situation leading to a happier self. Happiness impacts every aspect of our lives. When we are happy we have more energy, we live longer and our brain health is improved. Do you want to experience the benefits that happiness has to offer in your daily life?

Here are some tips on how you can start thinking more positive and reap the benefits of happiness.

1. Be grateful:  Be grateful for the little things. Learning to appreciate the dailiness of life plays a huge role in creating a peaceful and happy life.

2. Be Mindful:  Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention on the present. This is key to creating a happier you. Being mindful enables us to tap into our "core selves". We can learn to act in ways that enables us to achieve our desired goals. Who doesn't want that?

3. Create 3:1 positive to negative ratio:  For every negative thought that pops in your mind think of three things positive in the situation. Some things are inevitable but if we look for the positive it leaves little room for negativity.
I hope these tips are helpful. I encourage you to try at least one for a week and see how it changes your perspective. Remember, Health, Satisfaction and happiness is for all of us if we believe it!
